When I first designed it, I had taken inspirations from Jasper John's numbers piece, a gorgeous sketch drawn in charcoal. Please see post:

But the five letters and plus sign superimposed didn't do well. I never printed it. However, I redesigned it; some software issues came up when processing the files for plates. Also, bids to silkscreen the CMYK came back expensive, so I designed it again, this time in black & white. Thinking about printing both.
